Three MCC rule changes for 2026

Formal Float / Freeze choice after every allotment. Once a seat is allotted, you have to declare whether you are freezing it or floating it to the next round. It is now a recorded step, not an assumption.
One-time online document verification for Float candidates. If you float, your documents are verified online once and carried forward, instead of being re-verified in each round.
Upgradation runs only up to Round 3. After Round 3 there is no further upgradation — plan your Float/Freeze decisions with that deadline in mind.

Share your phone number and a counsellor will call you before each counselling round opens, so a deadline never passes without you knowing.
