Do well in your board exams. Your marks decide stream seats in many schools and diploma admissions.
Choose your Class 11 stream by interest and the careers it opens, not by what friends pick. Compare the streams.
If you want a job-ready route, look at a polytechnic diploma or an ITI trade.

Class 12

Board exams still count: many colleges and entrance exams set a minimum Class 12 percentage.
Register for your entrance exams on time: JEE Main for engineering, NEET UG for medicine, CUET UG for central universities, CLAT for law.

Look at defence and other entries after Class 12, such as NDA and Navy Agniveer.
