What we collect, and what we do with it.
Six details, one purpose: so a counsellor can call you back about admission guidance.
This page explains what EDU360 collects when you use this site, why we collect it, where it is stored, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
When you fill in the counselling form or talk to the assistant on this site, we collect the six details you enter:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your preferred stream
- Your preferred city
- Your message, if you write one
We also record a session ID so that a chat conversation and a form submission from the same visit are treated as one enquiry rather than two.
We do not ask for and do not want your exam roll number, your marksheet, your bank details or any government ID through this site.
Why we collect it
One reason only: so a counsellor can contact you about admission guidance and answer the question you asked. We do not use your details for anything else.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored in a Google Sheet in Google Workspace, accessible to EDU360 counselling staff. Google's own terms apply to that storage.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your details.
- We do not add you to unrelated marketing lists.
- We do not share your details with a college unless you have asked us to introduce you to it, or the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry while your admission cycle is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick up the conversation if you come back. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
How to ask for deletion or a copy
Email [add contact email] or call [add contact phone] and ask us to delete your enquiry, correct it, or send you a copy of what we hold. Please write from the email address, or call from the phone number, you gave us — that is how we confirm the request is yours. We will act within 30 days.
Your browser
This site stores a small amount of data in your own browser — your college comparison list, and whether you dismissed the counselling status bar. That data stays on your device and is not sent to us. If we run advertising, standard measurement tags from providers such as Google and Meta may set their own cookies; those providers' privacy policies govern that data.
If you are under 18
Many students applying through counselling are under 18. If you are, please involve a parent or guardian before sending us your details.
